On April 4th, 2015, ORIX Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "ORIX" ) declared that the new commercial facility the "Six Harajuku Terrace" in Shibuya was officially open for business.
The commercial facility is located in Shibuya, Tokyo Prefecture, which is a five-minute walk from the Meiji-jingumae Station of the Tokyo Metro. The location is about a block from Cat Street embodying the latest fashion and also a new leisure resort far away from the noise of the city.
The facility is named after the concept of "sixth sense", a sense that surpasses the usual five senses. Surrounding a central balcony, it includes six districts and eight stores with styles leading fashionable trends, forging a new area for urban leisure.
■ Exterior design
Unlike the uniform designs of conventional shopping centers, each shop has its own color theme and expresses itself via its wall materials. Moreover, although shops boast their own unique features, they are connected by the shared balcony.
The facility boasts eight shops which cover fashion, hair salons, restaurants, and articles for daily use, including shops introduced to Tokyo for the first time. "Six Harajuku Terrace" will add new vitality to the Shibuya region with these new shops and introduce pleasant life concepts.
